3 curve balls with more spin in the dirt and 1 curve normal spin for a strike (players wanted to scoot up so they could swing at the low curve but we would not let them. The purpose was not to swing at the low curve but recognize the breaking ball in the strike zone. With this routine the wheels do not adjust on the different curves so the hitters could not anticipate the change in curve balls)
