Congratulations to Wes Helms and his great staff in Birmingham, AL for an outstanding camp November 5, 2011! The camp had over 170 baseball players ages 8 to 18. The all day camp offered professional skills, drills, and advice from some great MLB players including: Wes Helms and Tim Hudson of the Atlanta Braves, Gaby Sanchez of the Florida Marlins, Terrance Long of the Kansas City Royals, Matt Guerrier of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and Paul Fournier, Trainer for the Florida Marlins. Also in attendance was Casey Dunn, Head Coach at Samford University, Steve Renfroe, Briarwood Christian Academy, Blake Prime & Lance Rhodes of RPM Inc. Training Facility, as well as many volunteers and helpers.

The camp raised over $23,000 dollars that were donated to local charities. In addition, the camp was able to help four families affected by the tornadoes earlier in 2011 in the area with over $25,000! Tim Hudson, and his wife Kim shared stories from some of the people they have been able to help through the Tim Hudson Family Foundation.
