Fielding: How-To : Adjust a Ball

If the ball you fire is not exactly where you want it, you can easily adjust the ball to your liking. From the Fielding Practice screen, click the Adjust Ball.

This will open up the screen that allows you to adjust the ball. You can use the up/down arrows to adjust the tilt. This action will not change the speed or spin of the ball. Similarly, you can click the right and left hand buttons to adjust the pan. Holding down the buttons will cause the direction of FungoMan to change to a greater degree, until you release the button.

You can adjust the speed by clicking on the speed button. Then, select the speed you want. You can also adjust the spin by selecting the spin and pick from more top spin, top spin, no spin, back spin and more back spin.

Another way to adjust the ball is to use the PDA hardware buttons. The bottom button will decrease the speed, while the second button from the bottom will increase speed. The second button from the top will put FungoMan into safe mode.
