Romy Cucjen, FungoMan’s president, knew he had developed a product that would be beneficial to baseball coaches and players at every level. This is where Cucjen's teammate from Arizona State, Don Wakamatsu, was first contacted to "test" the machine at the Texas Rangers’ stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Tim Hulett spent years as a professional baseball player with the Baltimore Orioles organization. Today, as head coach of the 2006 Louisiana State Champions at Evangel Christian Academy, Tim has been a active participant in FungoMan's development and product testing.
Hulett's state high school champions have seen dramatic differences because of the teaching techniques offered by the FungoMan Automated Practice Machine. "This machine is worth its weight in gold," Hulett explains.
We start with big league engineering, hardware and software. The key to creating a superior, automated machine goes far beyond loading baseballs into a machine, flipping a switch and waiting for something to happen. FungoMan’s
hand-held PDA is an industry first, completely allowing coaches and players to practice and coach repetitive routines or specific balls in two programmable modes. The patented HMI control system coordinates all aspects of the machine, including wireless remote control capability from anywhere on the field.
